Systems Engineer

a.    Develop appropriate reliability quality criteria through in-depth understanding of the project goals

1.    Produce assemblies of metal, robot control boards, and electromechanical components for proper fit using jigs and assembly aids. Use of hand tools to place fasteners, standard epoxies, adhesives, and grease for assembly. Also, test robots, sub assemblies, and finished assemblies for defects per instructions

●   Testing of entire systems including hardware and electrical circuits to improve robot quality
●   Programming experience on Linux
●   Deep knowledge of motion planning and control of robot manipulators
●   Skills and experience in developing recognition programs using images and point clouds
●   Experience in robot development using ROS

Preferred Qualifications

●   Realtime software development experience
●   Embedded software development skills and experience
●   Knowledge of camera and other sensor calibration
●   Experience participating in robotics competitions (Darpa Robotics Challenge, SubT Challenge, etc.)
●   Experience in software development for the space industry
